Upgrading a computer can be a cost effective way of improving speed and performance without having to resort to buying a whole new machine

What can you upgrade?

• RAM : Adding RAM (memory) is the single most effective performance increase you can buy.
  

• Hard Drives : A full hard drive can slow your PC down. Large hard drives are now extremely affordable and provide ample room for music, video and more.
  

• Monitor: LCD and TFT monitor prices are lower than ever. They take up less space and consume much less power.

• Backup : How often are your files backed up? Many of us now keep hundreds of our photos on our computers. If anything happens to the computer they will be lost. Backup drives provide a cheap reliable automatic method of creating regular backups.
